Dear Graduates,
Congratulations to you, the Class of 2024. You are among a select group of people in the United States who are completing their baccalaureate or masters degree. Your accomplishments deserve recognition, and we are pleased to join your family, friends, and supporters in celebrating you. You all make us very proud.
Today, as you cross the stage, and thus the line between student and alum, be assured of one thing - Our world needs the magic you bring and the magic you create. We have been lucky enough to experience the magic you brought to our campus - and we were lucky enough to play a small part in helping you think about how to develop that magic to continue to change the world.
The magic you created and experienced here has not only equipped you with the knowledge you need to succeed in your careers, but has also taught you how to thrive in a changing world. So, we have no fear you will define your own path and take your place in the world. At every stage of your journey, always remember to appreciate and thank those who helped you along the way. We cannot wait to see how your magic continues to shape the world!
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the College of Social Sciences, we wish you continued success in your professional careers and may your lives serve as role models to inspire and guide the next generation of leaders.
Sincerely,
